My gamestop is claiming that the preorder and bonus discs are two seperate things! They said I bought the preorder but if I want the bonus disc I have to shell out another $5 dollars (those 5 don't count towards Nightfall). Is any other store doing this? I'm almost 100% positive that the bonus disc is included with the dumb preorder...

I think someone told me that gamestop does make you pay extra for the bonus disc; but you get priority when they come in if you preordered. EBgames gives them free though I believe.

So i just found my magazine (yay) and i went to put the code in. Whats this? it's 1 digit too long? hmm i'll slash off the first/last digit. invalid eh? so i try again and i get "code in use already" (yay? not really, you'll see) i check my keys through the "manage access keys panel" whats this? not here? so i entered my PC gamer key again. In use. Check my keys, its not listed. I typed /bonusitems and got nothing. help please!

Im wondering if u get a extra slot for purchasing Nightfalls CE.It say that u get a extra slot for purchasing preorder nightfalls but im not sure if u can get a extra slot for nightfalls CE.
Ive bought faction CE before but i never bought preorder before so i have no idea.

If ne1 can answer this for me thx^^

If you get the bonus pack and the full game you get 3 more slots added to an existing account.

The pre-order guild wars nightfalls said in the details that u would get a extra slot.

Hell, last week, they had a seller who would sell the pre-release for a mere $14.99!

Yes, I realize that Anet is not responsible for what the retailers charge. BUT if enough customers cannot even purchase the pre-release with or without the game (Amazon is not offering the bundled game) and/or if they do have an option to, the price is 5x the average price (and does not go towards the end price of $49.99), then in the end how many dollars have they lost because they hide their eyes to this distribution nightmare?

Yes..... the CE and standard edition both give 2 slots when added to an existing account.... + the bonus pack slot...... = 3 new slots >_<

No CE doesn't get more slots than standard edition.

Anet does not make a profit off the prerelease packs evident from the fact that some places are still handing them out free with preorder. So regarding how many dollars they have lost the answer is zero; they have lost zero dollars. Amazon sold out of the bonus packs weeks ago; what you saw was a listing for an individual seller. It's basically like posting on ebay; he charges whatever he wants to. It's likely some dork that bought all five copies his local EB got and now he's reselling them for major profit.

If you just wait a bit; I'm sure one of your local retailers will get it in eventually.

I checked the day the pre-release was released and guess what -- they must have been all sold out.

Yes, a local retailer will have the game itself -- eventually, but NOT the pre-release (didn't have Factions pre-order, either, even though they're a national chain and I bugged them incessantly).

::shrugs:: But, hey, what's 3 players out of two million? Apparently no one cares.

I called my local Best Buy and they were not expected to get in the Pre-Release Package until September 26th, and only 8 copies. I only found out because I asked for a reason why they didn't have it yet.

Thanks for letting me know. I ordered it when it has the picture of the game and the pre-release pack, but it did not mention anything about the free pre-release pack in the description. Just checked the order and it says it will include the pre-release pack anyways so I am happy. Just to think, I was going to go to gamestop and buy the pre-release pack yesterday for $10 yesterday. Thank goodness I didn't buy it.

The Bonus Pack does not equal preorder.

It is up to the store whether they give it to you as a preorder bonus.

Gamestop and EBgames consider it a seperate thing and don't include it free with the preorder through online purchase (Ebgames is in response to Sith, that implied EBgames is different, it isnt, EBgames=Gamestop)

I have not recieved my Bonus Pack from Gamestop, even though I got my shipping confirmation a week ago. (Order Status is Shipped, got an email saying it would be here within the week, and the money was taken from my account for the purchase). i'm emailing them today about this.

EDIT: Got it all solved and got my Bonus Pack.

When I emailed Gamestop, They gave me basically a "we dont care -dont email us" email saying that they shipped it on time, and shipped it to the right address, so bug off if I dont get it thats tough.

But when it FINALLY get here, I noticed that the Zip Code on the package was wrong (even though it was right on the packing ship and order tracker), and it had traveled through like 3 Post Offices before it was fixed and got to me, and the Package had been beaten up and torn and such during this process.

Moral of the story is, I already stopped using EBgames over Factions, But I thought I'd try Gamestop even though its the same company up at the top running both, and that was a poor decision. Now I will not touch EITHER for ANY gaming needs.

Well I just got back from my local Gamestop, the EBgames in town did not have the prerelease at all...Gamestop did.

However they would not let me purchase it seperately without preordering Nightfall. The only bonus is that it was free if I preordered the CE, full price ($5) if I just preordered the regular edition. So since I wnat the CE anyway I prordered it there. Just did not like being forced to if I wanted the "seperate" prerelease retail package.

Since all I paid was $5 for the preordering I may just pick up the CE somewhere else anyway.

I had a similar BestBuy experience.

Except I went into my local BestBuy today ( 9/28 ) and they do not have the pre/bonus pack yet. The rep looked it up on his inventory computer and all it said is that 12 were on the way, but no clue as to when they would arrive.

Update for Best Buy:

I called them today, expecting the pre-orders that they claimed would be available on Tuesday (this post is/was written on the Friday following), to be available. Nope. The rep told me that they would be available for $9.99 on October 4th. We'll see.
